DONATION TO THE PEDIATRIC CLINIC AOP AND PRIZE TO COLORIFICIO SAN MARCO BY ASHLAND
Recognize and diagnose early childhood epilepsy, overcoming language and cultural barriers. This is the objective of the prevention project launched by the Paediatric Hospital of Padua thanks to the support of Colorificio San Marco.
The project "Epilepsy without language barriers", coordinated by Dr. Clementina Boniver from the Department of Pediatric Neurology and Neurophysiology of the LICE Center (Italian League Against Epilepsy) for the diagnosis and treatment of Childhood Epilepsy, aims to promote the taking in care of the patient affected by epilepsy in socio-cultural and linguistic contexts through a special communication which is not just a diagnosis but a "health care project". It will be carried out information brochures in English, Arabic and Chinese, which will be distributed throughout the Veneto region.
The project was funded by Colorificio San Marco and is part of the international campaign "Pass it On" promoted by Ashland, a group that provides specialty chemicals for world markets, to celebrate 50 years of Natrosol. The Italian project was awarded last September 21 in Zwijndrecht, the Netherlands.
