THE GREEN ECONOMY MANIFESTO FOR THE CITIES OF THE FUTURE

The manifesto addresses the main issues of today's urban areas, such as climate change and environmental and social degradation by analyzing their causes and outlining courses of action, so as to design a desirable future for the places of daily life and their communities.

Today, architecture and urban planning play a major role in the building industry because, if based on awareness, research and technology, they can help to revive and redevelop the sector.

It is necessary to understand the territorial contexts as places of aggregation, which is why forward-looking towns and cities must enhance their networks and connections, and promote research and eco-innovation, to act as an active reference point for the economy, knowledge-sharing and sustainability.
