The characteristics of the products
Silver Confort
Silver Confort is the new silver ion-based sanitizing wall paint from San Marco, designed to meet today’s growing demand for naturally hygienic environments. Silver ions create a barrier that prevents the proliferation of bacteria and the formation of mold, without releasing harmful substances. The action of silver ions is long-lasting because the particles do not degrade and remain active within the paint film. Silver Confort also allows for immediate re-occupancy after painting, as it is VOC-free and odorless.
Arum
Arum is a water-based paint made with carefully selected substances, ideal for domestic or public spaces frequented by sensitive individuals or those more exposed to indoor pollution. Arum is breathable, meaning it is perfectly permeable to water vapor. The hypoallergenic properties of this paint have been dermatologically tested by ISPE, Institute of Skin and Product Evaluation:
- Hypoallergenic (test report no. 272/13/00)
- Non-irritating to the skin (test report no. 271/13/00)
- Allows for immediate re-occupancy after painting as it is odorless and VOC-free
Sildomus Sana
Sildomus Sana is a silicate-based paint that uses "Formaldehyde-Eating" technology, capable of capturing formaldehyde present in indoor environments and transforming it into stable, harmless compounds. In addition to reducing formaldehyde, it repels dust, mites, and insects, keeping walls clean for longer and reducing the risk of allergies. Sildomus Sana also has anti-mold properties: it helps purify the air indoors, and thanks to its breathability, the walls act as a filter for household humidity. It is also VOC-free.
Antica Calce and Antica Calce Elite
Antica Calce and Antica Calce Elite are paints based on natural mineral lime that replicate the matte effect typical of lime finishes. Due to their high breathability, lime paints are suitable for damp rooms and help protect against mold and moss, while their antistatic properties keep away dust, dirt, mites, and insects—reducing allergy risks. Additionally, being natural, they do not emit polluting volatile substances. Thanks to their breathable nature, walls act as filters for both external and internal moisture: thermal variation is reduced and indoor climate improves. They are also VOC-free during both application and drying.
